

Dr. Pınar Dinç har en doktorsexamen i statsvetenskap från Department of Government vid London School of Economics. Hennes forskningsintressen ligger inom områdena nationalism, etnicitet, sociala rörelser, minne, diaspora och kopplingen mellan konflikt och miljö i Mellanöstern och utanför. Hon är för närvarande universitetslektor vid Statsvetenskapliga institutionen. Sedan september 2023 leder hon det tvärvetenskapliga projektet Exploring Conflict-Environment Interactions for Sustainable Development and Conservation Project, ECO-Syria, som finansieras av det strategiska forskningsområdet: Mellanöstern i den samtida världen (MECW) vid Centre for Advanced Middle Eastern Studies, Lunds universitet.
