The study introduces an analytical framework designed to investigate facilitating and hindering circumstances when introducing and disseminating alternative views of history in communities torn by protracted conflicts. The empirical analysis is based on extensive field studies in Israel and on the West Bank where interviews were conducted with guides working on alternative tourism.
