About the programme

What is the content of the Denver-Lund Study Abroad Programme?

The aim of the programme is to provide you with the opportunity to attain a theoretically grounded education in Political Science that is challenged with new perspectives from our group of international lecturers and your fellow classmates.

Our courses will provide you with a strong foundation from which you can analyse a wide range of political matters stretching from classical questions of power, democracy, conflict and cooperation to how gender and populism matter for political parties and political behaviour. Due to the strong link between research and teaching at our department we can pride us in offering content which is ever evolving and a reflection of the latest research findings. By the end of the programme you will therefore not only be well prepared for a professional career within the public and private sector but also eligible to pursue doctoral studies within our field.

The university annually welcomes students from over a 100 different countries, many of which you will meet while studying or taking part in activities outside of the classroom. As a student at our department you will create a network of colleagues from the whole world. Our proximity to Copenhagen and other European capitals also opens up for exploring internship opportunities in the EU and the UN.

We are located in the heart of the city and just a minute away from the main University building. Our building is newly renovated and provides modern teaching facilities and easy accessibility for students with disabilities.
