Two students talking to each other.

The Department of Political Science offers a wide range of courses in English for exchange students. After studying two terms (60 credits) in your subject, you can apply for the bachelor courses in your subject.

Most exchange students take courses on the bachelor level but a few courses within our master programmes are also open to exchange students.

Each course consists of approximately 20 hours of classroom lectures. The courses are organized as seminars. In addition to attending the lectures, students are expected to participate in seminar discussions, prepare presentations on specific topics, and write papers. The method of examination differs from course to course, but as a general rule grades are based on both seminar activity and a final examination. Note that the information on literature is preliminary.

Please observe that you must study at least 15 ECTS credits at our department, the Department of Political Science in Lund. This regards only if you are coming within an agreement with our department.

Many courses at the Department of Political Science are linked to a specific research project that specific teachers are involved in, and are therefore not given each term.
