Compulsory introductory meeting using Zoom
The semester starts with a compulsory introductory meeting and introductory lecture on January 18 15-18 online using Zoom.
An invitation to the Zoom introductory meeting will approxminately be sent out a week before course start.
Tips for using Zoom
- Make sure you have access to secure wifi and a quiet environment.
- Keep you microphone off during yhe introductory meeting but you are most welcome to use video.
- In the chat function in Zoom there is a “raise hand” button. Please use this fuction if you would like to ask anything during the introductory meeting.
Eligibility and Conditional offer
Specific Entry Requirements: 30 credits in Peace and Conflict Studies (FKVA12) or 30 credits in Political Science (STVA12).
If you do not fulfil the above at the time of admission you have received a conditional offer. You must therefore present documents verifying your eligibility in connection with the start of spring semester.
Web registration
Web registration opens on January 11 and must be completed by January 18.
If you are conditionally admitted to the course you will not be able to register online until your eligibility has been confirmed. If you are unable to registrer due to a conditional offer please contact the academic advisors on studievagledare [at] svet [dot] lu [dot] se no later than January 18th.

Schedule and classes
The course is taught part time with afternoon classes. Part of the classes eg. seminars are compulsory.
The course ends on March 19th 2021.

Both online and Campus teaching
The Faculty of Social Science has decided that the teaching for the first 5 weeks of spring semester will be conducted by using digital tools (online). A new decision is expected to come on around February 27.
We will inform you in more detail how this will affect your studies at the department of Poltical Science at the introductory meeting.
