Raphael Cohen-Almagor will be the holder of the 2023 Olof Palme visiting professorship

The visiting professorship is hosted by the Centre for Advanced Middle Eastern Studies and the Department of Political Science.

Raphael Cohen-Almagor, professor in political studies at University of Hull (United Kingdom) has been awarded the 2023 Olof Palme visiting professorship. During his time in Sweden, professor Raphael Cohen-Almagor will be active mainly at Lund University.

About the visiting professorship

The Olof Palme professorship should be awarded to an internationally prominent researcher focused on topics important to the pursuit of peace in a broad context within the areas of social sciences, humanities, theology and science of law.
