Participants from 10 universities in Sweden, Norway, Denmark and Poland went from large-scale to microscopic in discussions from the EU's forest policy to microbiological processes. On day two, the participants went to the forest and met the Scanian Landscape Foundation, forest machine operators and a private forest owner, which raised discussions around young researchers’ role in relation to policy and the forestry sector.
From the Department of Political Science, doctoral students Maja Tejre, Katja Garson and Hanna Ekström participated, who also helped organize the event together with Keeli Curtis, SLU, and Tristan Bakx, Lund University.
The event was carried out with support from the graduate research schools SILVA and ClimBEco.
