Welcome to the Master of Science Programme in Welfare Policies and Management (SAWEM) and the course Welfare Regimes in Transition. Comparative Perspectives on Policies, Management and Reform (WPMP01)

Compulsory introductory and registration meetings
Attendance at the meetings listed below is mandatory.

The meeting is followed by an informal mingle.
Course introduction – Welfare Regimes in Transition (WPMP01)
- Date: 1 September
- Time: 13:00–15:00
- Location: G:a Polikliniken (House M), room 123
Introductory lectures – second half of the semester
Please note the following compulsory introductory meetings later in the semester:

- Date: 3 November
- Time: 9:00–11:00
- Location: Eden building, room 230
- Evaluation and Welfare Management (WPMP02)
- Date: 3 December
- Time: 10:00–12:00
- Location: G:a Köket, room 208 (Sh:208)
Important: If you do not attend a compulsory introduction meeting and have not informed the academic advisers in advance, you will lose your place on the programme and/or course. Your place will then be offered to a student on the waiting list.

Eligibility and conditional offers
Entry requirements
You must have:
- a completed degree equivalent to a Swedish Bachelor’s degree, and
- a major (at least 90 ECTS credits) in Political Science, Social Work, or Sociology.
Conditional offer
If you did not meet the entry requirements at the time of admission, you have received a conditional offer.
You must bring official documents verifying your eligibility to the introductory meeting.
Schedule and teaching
- Classes are scheduled 2–4 times per week
- Some classes are compulsory
