We are happy to welcome you to the Department of Political Science at Lund University. In order to accept and secure our offer, please read important information below carefully. 

Replying to your offer and securing your place

To secure our offer, you must reply ”yes” no later than December 18. If you miss to reply by this date, the offer will be revoked.

Compulsory introductory meeting

The semester starts with a compulsory introductory meeting and introductory lecture on January 15, at 15.15 in Eden 131.  

Eligibility and Conditional offer 

Specific Entry Requirements: 30 credits in Peace and Conflict Studies (FKVA12) or 30 credits in Political Science (STVA13).

If you do not fulfil the above at the time of admission, you have received a conditional offer. You must therefore present documents verifying your eligibility in connection with the start of the spring semester.

Web registration

Web registration opens on January 8 and must be completed by January 15.

If you are conditionally admitted to the course, you will not be able to register online until your eligibility has been confirmed. If you are unable to register due to a conditional offer, please contact the academic advisors on studievagledare [at] svet [dot] lu [dot] se (studievagledare[at]svet[dot]lu[dot]se) no later than January 15.

Schedule and classes 

The course is taught part-time with afternoon classes. Some of the classes are compulsory, eg. seminars.
