Presentation
I am a research professor in the department of political science, University of Gothenburg and professor of public governance at the Melbourne School of Government, University of Melbourne. I am also adjunct professor at the University of Pittsburgh. I have held numerous overseas visiting appointments, most recently at the City University of Hong Kong, University of Melbourne and University of Auckland.
Fields of expertise
My research is focused on contemporary governance, both in developing governance theory and in empirical research on the changing role of political institutions. I am particularly interested in new modes of governance and issues related to their capacity to deliver political responsiveness and democratic accountability.
Teaching and tutoring
Administrative reform, public management, governace.
