Current research and teaching

Generally, I am interested in the effectiveness of environmental policies. Methodologically, I use quantitative methods to analyse public finance institutions for land use, conservation, and participatory governance mechanisms for sustainable development. I have been working on insurance values of soil biodiversity in the face of climate change. Now, I largely work on forest policies, the governance of trade-offs and the transformation of land use sectors, and financial markets.
