Introduction
Rikard Bengtsson is Associate Professor of Political Science since 2009. He has previously worked at Malmö University and the Swedish Institute of International Affairs. Between October 2012 and June 2016 was on leave from the university to work for the Swedish government. As senior adviser in the Prime Minster’s Office and the Ministry for Foreign Affairs he assisted the government with long-term strategic and security-political analysis.
