FKVB22 – War and Peace in the Western Balkans (7.5 credits). Second cycle. Peace and conflict studies. Autumn term.

PLEASE NOTE: this course does not give eligibility for further studies and should be taken as a supplement to other courses.

As a student on this course you will learn how to:

  • describe and discuss the main issues relating to war and peace in the Western Balkans.
  • describe and discuss the research problems, theoretical perspectives, and methods in the study of war and peace in the Western Balkans.
  • formulate a relevant research problem in the area covered by the course, and demonstrate the ability to appraise this problem theoretically and empirically.
  • contribute to a common learning environment and to group dynamic aspects of learning.
