CMES Seminar: We have a dream - Munkavlar och motstånd: press- och yttrandefrihet i Mellanöstern

Join journalist and author Joakim Medin in conversation with Lisa Strömbom (Centre for Advanced Middle Eastern Studies, CMES) on activism, courage and the power to act for change.

Joakim Medin will speak about authoritarian trends in the Middle East and how press freedom is targeted both domestically and abroad. But also about resistance and growing defence of independent media and freedom of speech.

Moderator: Lisa Strömbom, Senior Lecturer and Associate Professor of Political Science, and Deputy Director of the Centre for Middle Eastern Studies at Lund University.
The event will be held in Swedish.
The event is free of charge, but a ticket is required.
