Current research
My research is about that which is beyond politics, apolitics. I theorize this concept and ask the question of what such a concept can tell us about politics. I am here particularly interested in the apolitical in relation to knowledge production, often in relation to what has been called 'post-truth' and the discourse around 'fake news'. Beyond that, I am interested in theories of radical politics, and how such perspectives can be grasped from a non-anthropocentric and Marxist perspective. I have previously written about emotional responses to acts of terror, with assemblage theory as a methodological framework.
