Current research
Yeqing Duan is a postdoctoral researcher at Lund University (since March 2025). Her current project, MultiForSe, utilizes agent-based modeling to explore how networked learning and policy interventions can facilitate the transition of multi-use forestry.
Before joining Lund University, Yeqing obtained her PhD from the Business School of Hohai University in 2025. Her dissertation focused on the formation of ecosystem offset markets (EOM) and the transition of restoration provision mechanisms. She developed a theoretical framework for potential restoration provision pattern during this transition and used agent-based modelling to investigate EOM dynamics and the effects of different restoration provision strategies under various natural and economic conditions.
