Admission letter

We are happy to welcome you to the Department of Political Science, Department of Sociology and School of Social Work at Lund University. 

Compulsory introductory and registration meeting 

The semester starts with a compulsory introductory and registration meeting on August 30th at the Department of Political Science in room Ed236 at 13:15 followed by a mingle. 

A compulsory introduction lecture for the course Welfare Regimes in Transition. Comparative Perspectives on Policies, Management and Reform (WPMP01) will occur on September 2nd in Ed235 between 10-12.

For the second half of the semester please note the following introductory lectures:

Organization, Leadership and Welfare Management will start on November 4th with a compulsory introduction meeting in room Sh208 (Department of Social Work, Allhegonakyrkogata 8) between 13-15. 

Evaluation and Welfare Management will start on December 4th with a compulsory introduction in room Ed222a at 10:15. 

If you fail to attend without notifying the academic advisors you will loose your spot on the programme/course which will be offered to a student on the waiting list.

Eligibility and Conditional offer 

Specific Entry Requirements: Completed degree equivalent of a Swedish Bachelor’s degree with a major (i.e. at least 90 ECTS credits) in Political Science, Social Work or Sociology.

If you do not fulfil the above at the time of admission you have received a conditional offer. You must therefore present documents verifying your eligibility in connection with the introductory meeting. 

Schedule and classes 

Classes are schedule 2-4 times a week. Part of the classes are compulsory. 

The semester ends on January 19th 2020. No classes will be scheduled between December 22nd 2019 and January 6th 2020.
