Political Science: Comparative Politics

We are happy to welcome you to the Department of Political Science at Lund University. In order to accept and secure our offer, please read important information below carefully.

Compulsory introductory meeting 

The semester starts with a compulsory introductory meeting and introductory lecture on January 16, at 12-14 in room Eden 230.

If you fail to attend without notifying the academic advisors, you will lose your spot on the course which will then be offered to a student on the waiting list.

Eligibility and Conditional offer 

Specific Entry Requirements: To be eligible for the course,, the student must have the equivalence of one year (60 credits) of coursework in Political Science.

What constitutes the equivalent of 60 credits in Political Science?

If you have completed 75% of your programme, including STVC02 and STVC05, you will be able to register.

If you do not fulfil the above at the time of admission, you have received a conditional offer. You must therefore present documents verifying your eligibility in connection with the introductory meeting.

It is important that you do the web registration on time, or else you will lose your place which will then be offered to another applicant.

Classes are scheduled 2-4 times a week. Some of the classes are compulsory.
