Welcome to the 6th and final semester in the BIDS-programme, major Political Science! Below you will find information that you need to know in order to claim your study place. It is important that you read the information thoroughly.

Compulsory introductory meeting for STVB30

The semester starts with a compulsory digital introductory meeting for the course STVB30 Field Work, Internship, Research Overview on January 15 at 14-16 in location Eden 222A. 

Compulsory introductory meeting for the thesis course STVK12

The second course STVK12 Bachelor's thesis in Development Studies, major Political Science starts with a compulsory introductory meeting on March 20, at 13.15 in room Eden 235. Your introductory meeting is mandatory. If you are unable to attend the mandatory introductory meeting, please notifying the course convener and the academic advisors.

Eligibility and Conditional offer

Specific Entry Requirements for STVB30: At least 45 credits (75%) from BIDS year 1 and year 2.
Specific Entry Requirements for STVK12: At least 45 credits (75%) from BIDS year 1 and year 2 including STVC02 and STVC05.

If you do not fulfil the above at the time of admission, you have received a conditional offer. You must therefore present documents verifying your eligibility in connection with the introductory meeting for the course

It is important that you do the web registration on time, or else you will lose your place which will then be offered to another applicant.

Once you have registered you will be granted access to the course module on Canvas. Please note, there is a slight delay from your registration until you can access the course on Canvas.

Classes are scheduled 2-4 times a week. Attendance at seminars is compulsory.
