We are happy to welcome you to the Department of Political Science at Lund University. In order to accept and secure our offer, please read important information below carefully.

Compulsory introductory meeting 

The semester starts with a compulsory introductory meeting and introductory lecture on March 20, at 13–15 in room Eden 235.

If you fail to attend without notifying the academic advisors, you will lose your spot on the course which then will be offered to a student on the waiting list.

Eligibility and Conditional offer 

Specific Entry Requirements: 150 higher education credits, including a Bachelor degree essay, in the subject of political science, peace and conflict studies, or an equivalent discipline.

If you do not fulfill the above at the time of admission, you have received a conditional offer. You must therefore present documents verifying your eligibility in connection with the introductory meeting.

It is important that you web register on time, or else you will lose your place which then will be offered to another applicant.

Classes are scheduled 2–3 times a week. Some of the classes are compulsory.
