Congratulation and welcome to the course Welfare Regimes in Transition. Comparative Perspectives on Policies, Management and Reform (WPMP01)

We are happy to welcome you to the Department of Political Science, Department of Sociology and School of Social Work at Lund University 

Compulsory introductory and registration meeting 

The semester starts with a compulsory introductory and registration meeting on August 25 at the Department of Political Science in house Eden, room 236 at 13–15 followed by a mingle. 

A compulsory introduction lecture for the course Welfare Regimes in Transition. Comparative Perspectives on Policies, Management and Reform (WPMP01) will occur on August 28 in house R, room 240 at 13–15.

For the second half of the semester please note the following introductory lectures:

  • Organization, Leadership and Welfare Management (WPMP03) with a compulsory introduction meeting on October 27 in house Eden, room 236 at 10–12. 
  • Evaluation and Welfare Management (WPMP02) will start with a compulsory introduction on November 29 in house M, room 224 at 10–12. 

If you fail to attend without notifying the academic advisors you will loose your spot on the programme/course which will be offered to a student on the waiting list.

Eligibility and Conditional offer 

Specific Entry Requirements: Completed degree equivalent of a Swedish Bachelor’s degree with a major (i.e. at least 90 ECTS credits) in Political Science, Social Work or Sociology.

If you do not fulfill the above at the time of admission you have received a conditional offer. You must therefore present documents verifying your eligibility in connection with the introductory meeting.

Classes are schedule 2–4 times a week. Part of the classes are compulsory.
