Introduction letter

First Notification of Selection Results will be published July 13 and shortly after you will be receiving an introduction letter from us with information about your studies, ie. around July 17-23. Please note last date to reply to your offer on is July 28 (applies also if you are offered a reserved seat). The introduction letter will be sent to the email address that the student has indicated in the application at

Web registration

Admitted students

To formally take your place in the course you must register by using the web registration form at the student portal ( If you are conditionally accepted to the course you can’t register online. You must therefore visit the academic advisors no later than August 28 to present documents verifying your eligibility and register to the course.

Admitted exchange students

You do not need to register by using the web registration. You will be course registered on our (Department of Political Science’s) courses by our international coordinator. 

Compulsory introductory meetings for admitted students

All introductory meetings take place at the department of Political Science at Paradisgatan 5H (house Eden). Please note the Lund custom of “academic quarter”, implying that if the specified time is 10:00, the meeting actually starts at 10:15. 

If you are admitted to a course but have not received an introduction letter by August 13, please contact the study advisory (studievagledare [at] svet [dot] lu [dot] se).
