Bachelor's level courses for exchange students
After 60 ECTS credits in your subject
If you have completed at least 60 ECTS credits in your subject at your home university and are nominated through an exchange agreement with Lund University, you may apply for our bachelor's-level courses.
The Department of Political Science offers a wide range of courses taught in English for exchange students. While most exchange students take courses at bachelor's level, a limited number of master's level courses may also be available to eligible students.
Teaching consists of lectures, seminars and group discussions. Students are expected to actively participate in seminars, prepare presentations and complete written assignments. Assessment methods vary between courses but usually include both coursework and a final examination.
Note that students attending Lund University through an exchange agreement with the Department of Political Science must take at least 15 ECTS credits at our Department.
As many courses are linked to ongoing research projects and faculty expertise, the course offering varies between semesters.
Examples of courses offered in recent and upcoming semesters:
Spring 2026
Autumn 2026
