We are happy to welcome you to the Department of Political Science at Lund University. In order to accept and secure our offer please read the information below carefully.
Replying to your offer and securing your place
To secure our offer you must reply ”yes” no later than December 16. If you miss to reply by this date, the offer will be revoked.
Compulsory introductory meeting
The semester starts with a compulsory introductory meeting and introductory lecture on March 24 09-11 in room Ed236.
If you fail to attend without notifying the academic advisors you will loose your spot on the course which will be offered to a student on the waiting list.
Eligibility and Conditional offer
Specific Entry Requirements: 150 higher education credits, including a Bachelor degree essay, in the subject of political science, peace and conflict studies, or an equivalent discipline.
If you do not fulfil the above at the time of admission you have received a conditional offer. You must therefore present documents verifying your eligibility in connection with the introductory meeting.
Web registration opens on March 15 and must be completed by March 24.
If you are conditionally admitted to the course you will not be able to register online until your eligibility has been confirmed. If you are unable to registrer due to a conditional offer please contact the academic advisors on studievagledare [at] svet [dot] lu [dot] se no later than March 24.

Canvas - Lund University’s learning management platform
Once you have registered you will be granted access to the course module on Canvas. Please note that there is a slight delay from your registration until you can access the course on Canvas.
Schedule and classes
Classes are schedule 2-3 times a week. Part of the classes are compulsory.
The course ends on June 4th.
Both online and on-campus teaching
The Faculty of Social Science has decided that the teaching for the first 5 weeks of spring semester will be conducted by using digital tools (online). A new decision is expected to come on around February 27.
Teaching will by mid-march hopefully be conducted using both digital tools (online) and in adapted campus-based forms. In such activities, consideration is to be given to university-wide decisions and to the Swedish Public Health Agency’s rules, general guidelines and recommendations for a reduced spread of infection of Covid-19.
