Work environment

Preventative work environment activities will lead to a better work environment that benefits everyone.

The Swedish Work Environment Act states that work environment management should be conducted in a systematic way and be a natural part of the daily operations of a work place. This means that working conditions should continuously be examined, risk assessments made, the risks addressed and monitored, and knowledge as well as safety and health information should be distrubuted at the workplace. Systematic work environment management includes all physical, psychological and social matters of importance for the working environment.

At the Department of Political Science the head of department is responsible for the work environment development. The work is done in close collaboration with the department's staff and students.
