Political Science Methodology for European Affairs
Please note: This course will only be given this spring, 2017, and only applies to students who began studying autumn 2016.
The aim of the course is to provide a comprehensive understanding of the diverse research methods used in the study of The European Union.
The course covers both qualitative and quantitative methods, and concrete examples are drawn from comparative politics, international relations and other sub-disciplines of political science. The students are tasked with formulating their own research problem, and then to step-by-step develop their own research design on how to best answer that problem.
