Sovereignty Revisited
Introduktion
This project aims at analyzing recent academic debates on sovereignty within international relations and political theory. Largely due to the linguistic reorientation within social sciences, recent scholarship has focused on the changing meaning of the concept of sovereignty in a variety of historical and political contexts, and under what conditions these changes in turn spill over into institutional change on a global scale. This project intends to provide a critical overview of this debate that offers new insights about the changing meaning and function of the concept of sovereignty within international relations and political theory.
