Introduktion

Biography
Ted Svensson has been working in the Department since September 2009. He obtained his PhD at the University of Warwick, United Kingdom. His thesis, titled Meanings of Partition: Production of Postcolonial India and Pakistan, was in 2011 awarded the Political Studies Association’s Lord Bryce Prize for best dissertation in International Relations and/or Comparative Politics. It will be published as a monograph later this year. Ted’s general research interests include identity politics, violence, methodology, poststructuralist thought and contemporary South Asia. At the moment, he is concurrently carrying out research as member of the research program Transdemos (transdemos.se) and working on issues broadly related to constitutive moments.
